Civic Awareness Session on Children’s Day

At Ganigarapaalya School

On children’s day, along with celebrations and fun games planned wonderfully by Ganigarapaalya school teachers, Hongirana Foundation added some important learning aspects for children to take home. A civic awareness talk by Mrs. Chaithanya Subrahmanya (trustee Mission Disha, Ward coordinator for Citizens Participation program- Solid Waste Management) was organized. Mr. Chandrashekhar, Junior Health Inspector, BBMP-SWM, was kind enough to join the occasion making it more meaningful. The fun and interactive talk ended with HF distributing up-cycled, decorated dustbins to identified cleanliness monitors from every class.

Further stationery sets and chocolates were distributed to each of the children of the school.
