A Day Out at The Valley School: Learning Beyond the Classroom
Like every year, Valley School once again opened its beautiful campus to our students, giving them a chance to experience learning beyond the four walls of a classroom. This year, our children were welcomed twice, and both visits were filled with exploration, creativity, and joyful interactions.
On July 20th, the 7th graders from Ganigarapalya School spent a wonderful half-day at Valley School. They enjoyed outdoor games, created bookmarks with intricate patterns, listened to engaging stories, and had the opportunity to interact with children of their age as well as the adults at Valley. The experience was made even more special with delicious snacks and lunch that everyone savored together.

Later in the year, on November 23rd, another group of students from 4th and 5th grade had their turn to visit. They spent their time exploring the beautiful campus, playing, singing songs, and listening to stories. One of the highlights was learning how to make creative finger hats, a skill they enthusiastically shared with their classmates back at school.

Beyond the fun and hands-on learning, what stood out was the keen interest shown by the parents and teachers at Valley School in exploring ways to enhance the quality of education together. Their warmth, support, and engagement made these visits even more meaningful for our students.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Valley School for not only opening their campus but also for their continuous encouragement and collaboration. These experiences play a crucial role in making experiential learning accessible to the students of Ganigarapalya and other schools, leaving a lasting impact on their educational journey.
Looking forward to more frequent visits of Ganigarapalya school children to Valley School in the coming academic year.
