Volunteers for Gnana Jyothi – A New Chapter
Some of the brightest minds in the country can be found in the last benches of the classrooms

Hongirana Foundation (HF) has been actively involved in enhancing the quality of education imparted to the students of Ganigarapalya school in Bangalore. As part of this activity, two contract teachers employed by the foundation work full time in the school. They teach students in grades 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Earlier in August, a call out for volunteers from nearby communities garnered a lot of interest and response.
On the 5th of Sep 2022, a series of orientation sessions for these volunteers was conducted in which the HF philosophy and methodology were explained.
Soon after, these enthusiastic volunteer teachers have been assisting the teachers in the school. They work specifically with the slow learners in classes 4, and 5 and help them in Math and Kannada.

Wonderful. Congrats and good luck. Lovely story for importance of math.
I am very happy to to note Col Jayaram is volunteered in teaching children. It is a noble work. Col Jayaram is a very good teacher especially for the children. He can make very interesting for the kids by telling stories which can be a lesson itself.
I wish Horangana foundation a big success in helping the children for upcoming.
