Benniganahalli Government School Project

November 2018

Benniganahalli Government school project was very unique for Hongirana team. Thanks to Stepup for India, Analog Devices India, a technology company committed to make a difference in people’s lives joined hands with Hongirana team to bring in creative touch to Benniganahalli Government school. Enthusiastic team of volunteers immediately jumped in after we presented the details of the Hongirana Chittara event, which was designed for Corporate employees spend meaningful, creative time with Government school children. Post initial discussions on October 2018, event was scheduled for November 17th and 24th 2018. Again, Shyla Reddy, director of  SUFI was instrumental in getting all relevant permission from BEO and Head mistress of the school.

With 3 of our volunteers on November 17th, enthusiastic team set off conduction art event, doing base coat of paints. It was a wonderful to see team cleared whole area outside the school as well, prompting the locals to join hands in the effort.

On November 24th, after a brief sessions explaining the significance of the event to children in school assembly, also displaying the art work chosen for painting on the wall, Hongirana team set off to  work on murals along with eagerly awaiting ADI volunteers.
